Vermiculite can be poured into any cavity - between floors, in interior walls, under stair voids - in a way no other insulation material can. And because of its ultra light weight, no pre-strengthening is required. Used this way, Vermiculite can make a significant contribution to the room insulation and reduction of sound transference between rooms partitioned by stud and plaster-board walls.
