An early pioneer of Vermiculite Exfoliation was the Dupré Vermiculite company, news of its inspired applications of Vermiculite products led to the UK developing some of the worlds most advanced Vermiculite products being researched and brought to the world market, applications include markets for exfoliated and crude vermiculites ranging from insulation, friction, horticulture and wherever lightweight or refractory applications are required.
Being the market leader with its MICAFIL brand of insulation Vermiculite, Dupré and Hoben joined forces in November 2006 to develop their products and markets yet further, formerly owned by the Minelco Speciality Group, Dupré Vermiculite’s loose fill range of insulation products complemented Hoben’s range of industrial and friction based products. Now being consolidated on a purpose built site will yield benefits in both manufacturing and warehousing to an extensive customer base. Hoben International Ltd. has retained both the Dupré and Micafil brands and will continue to promote and support the reputation of the Dupré product range to all its customers.
